The institute for Medical Technology Assessment produces five types of publications: journal papers, research reports, book chapters, manuals, and a biannually newsletter. iMTA has written a health economic manual for the Dutch setting, as well as the Dutch costing manual for health care. Both the costing manual and the health economic manual are updated every couple of years.

PAID is a toolkit that enables researchers to incorporate indirect medical costs in their economic evaluations. PAID calculates annual per capita health expenditures stratified by sex, age and proximity to death.
